Migrated a Replit-built taxi dispatch platform onto a hardened production VPS with real mobile apps and live GPS.
CentraleConnect's taxi and driver dispatch platform started life as a Replit prototype. We took it to production — a hardened VPS, real native mobile builds, and a deploy pipeline the client's own team can keep using.
A working prototype on Replit isn't a production dispatch system — no real domain, no background GPS on mobile, no deploy pipeline, and no hardening for a service real drivers and dispatchers depend on.
Rebuilt the deployment story end-to-end: a proper VPS with Docker/Nginx/SSL, real native mobile builds with working background location, and an automated pipeline so future updates from the client's Replit environment ship to production without manual intervention.
Migrated the Node.js/TypeScript + PostgreSQL dispatch backend off Replit onto a Contabo Ubuntu 24.04 VPS, Dockerized with Nginx reverse proxy, SSL via Certbot, and Drizzle ORM migrations, connected to the client's own domain. Built standalone Android and iOS driver apps via Expo/EAS with working background GPS (location reporting even when the app is closed) and Firebase push notifications, plus a GitHub auto-deploy pipeline so the client's own Replit pushes redeploy automatically to the VPS.
“ok, that's great, we'll need something similar”
“100% satisfied... highly appreciate the professionalism as always”
“Your bid was the SHARPEST on the mechanics — two-phase idempotency, nonces, prepared SQL, evidence discipline — which is precisely our concern.”
“You have done a good job with the cache file behavior. I like that you understood the root of the problem.”
